Denver Startups, why start now?
For those that live in Denver there are a number of organizations that can facilitate you starting up your business. Denver has 8,000 new startups each month, or about 80,000 per year. If you look at a conservative estimate that at least 10% of them own a Mac that’s 8,000 new companies that use Macs. Woo Hoo!! In this tightening economy most people are looking for jobs, but you know that this can be a very tough way of getting to earn a paycheck or earning a living. One thing I would suggest is that you look at starting your own business. Why? Because those jobs that have been lost in the last 6-12 months may not come back for another year or so and if you start a business now and it succeeds during a recession, then you’ll be golden during the recovery period.
And, there is nothing better than starting a business during a tough economy because you won’t blow through a ton of money like in a robust economy which means that you’ll learn to be frugal in your startup mode, and that’s a good thing. While it may be tougher to start, if you succeed you’ll be even better prepared for the recovery.
