     No, not essential at all, but if I remove the .com part my letters can be bigger in height. What would you think of it then?

   Like the look.

   What is the call-to-action? Or the positioning statement to give people a sense as to why they may want to click on it. Draw people in, but, simplicity is also a good thing. Ahh, the finesse of art presents itself.

   Keep the “.com” … it gives people a sense that it is an online destination, a place to go (click).

     At the moment, just a banner ad of sorts, got the idea from a graphic art company and it first, where is the interesting part now. Yes, the finesse of art is right.
